Let's Be Together

The project, hosted at "Art-café Świetlica" in Wrocław, focuses on reducing the sense of isolation and enhancing social integration, particularly for senior citizens. The "Literary Club" meets weekly on Thursdays, providing a welcoming environment for elderly residents, migrants, and refugees to gather, share their stories, and create meaningful connections. The club fosters social bonds, offering participants an opportunity to expand their knowledge through discussions, workshops, and artistic presentations, creating a supportive network.

In addition, the project offers music therapy sessions called "Mix Friday," aimed at improving emotional, physical, and mental well-being through live music, singing, and therapeutic exercises. These sessions help participants express their emotions, reduce stress, and improve cognitive functions, all while building social skills and strengthening community ties.

This initiative is designed to create long-term impacts by encouraging mutual exchange between locals and newcomers, showing how integration can benefit both sides. The project emphasizes the importance of building inclusive communities where everyone, regardless of their background or current circumstances, can find support and understanding. By fostering these interactions, the project helps seniors and migrants alike navigate their new environments and feel a sense of belonging.
