About Us
The foundation focuses on a wide range of social activities aimed at helping people in difficult life situations, supporting social and professional integration, charitable activities, and promoting national and cultural traditions. It also supports the integration of foreigners, persons with disabilities, and retirees, gender equality, education, culture, and sports development, environmental protection, and human rights. The foundation engages in assisting disaster victims, promoting volunteerism and international cooperation, and also supports the Polish diaspora abroad.
From February 24, 2022, our foundation has been diligently coordinating the work of volunteers, focusing on supporting and assisting refugees from Ukraine. Based on these efforts, our foundation was established, with a mission to provide assistance to those in greatest need.
Our first project was the opening of a pierogi restaurant, which became a place of community and solidarity for over 100 women – Ukrainians, Poles, and women of other nationalities who found shelter in Poland. Wrocław entrepreneurs, showing immense generosity, provided products for making pierogi free of charge. The entire proceeds from the sale of these Ukrainian specialties were dedicated to supporting refugees from Ukraine, bringing them hope and essential assistance in difficult times. Long queues formed outside the pierogi restaurant, and people showed tremendous support. This joint effort demonstrated that together we can achieve the best results and provide real support to those in need.
Another one of our projects involves providing social support for women with children who have arrived from Ukraine and are in the process of adapting to a new country in a stressful situation. Our assistance includes a wide range of services such as psychological, informational, and medical support, legal counseling, and assistance in finding housing. Additionally, we offer humanitarian support that not only aids our beneficiaries upon their return to Ukraine but also provides assistance to those who remain in place.
Our third project focuses on providing support for individuals aged 40 and above. We organize regular integration meetings primarily aimed at seniors. These meetings take place once a month and include enjoyable performances by musicians representing various musical styles, which draw inspiration from both Polish and Ukrainian traditions. Each meeting gathers between 15 to 40 participants, creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere for all attendees.
Our fourth project is the organization of the annual international Wyszywanka(Embroidery) Festival, which takes place in an open area and gathers approximately 200 people from various ethnic minorities. The Wyszywanka Festival is a unique event that celebrates the richness of cultures through presentations of traditional costumes, songs, and folk dances. Participants have the opportunity to take part in handicraft workshops, where they can learn unique artistic and artisanal techniques. The festival creates a space for cultural exchange, promoting understanding and respect for diversity, and strengthening ties between different communities. It is not only an opportunity for fun and learning but also for building community and sharing traditions that shape our heritage.

The project aims to combat loneliness and foster social integration among the elderly in Wrocław. Held at "Art-café Świetlica" on Łaciarska 32, the initiative features a "Literary Club" every Thursday and music therapy sessions called "Mix Friday" on Fridays. The club offers a safe space for seniors, migrants, and refugees to share experiences, develop skills, and build relationships. Participants will engage in discussions, workshops, and cultural events. The initiative encourages the exchange of knowledge between locals and newcomers, promoting mutual support and community bonding.
